Our Recreational Programs run September - May and are designed for athletes new to volleyball or athletes wanting to continue training without the commitment of club volleyball. ​​

2026 BEST OF THE WEST

The Expression of Interest (EOI) Form for the 2026 Best of the West tournament is NOW LIVE.

Applications can be submitted until Sept 27th.

First round of Invitations will go out October 1st.

2025-2026 IDENTIFICATION, TRYOUT & SIGNING PROCESS 

The selection of our 13U, 14U 15U, 16U, 17U & 18U teams begins at the start of the Volleyball Alberta Open Period which starts June 1st. During the month of June we host ID Sessions allowing all athletes interested in the Dinos program an opportunity to meet coaches, ask questions and understand what opportunities are available prior to the re-sign dates. It is important to attend ID sessions in order to be identified prior to tryouts as previous Dinos athletes can be offered resign opportunities and tryouts will only be held if spots remain.

**All sessions are held at the Volleyball Academy (5423 61 Ave SE, Unit 150)

**The fee for ID Sessions is $20 cash (e-transfer and credit cards are not accepted)
