2024 SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Important Transfer Information: Payments are completed upon registration. If you need to transfer to a different session you must contact dinosdirector@gmail.com to be transferred. Transfers can only be done internally by our staff - if you register for two sessions and request for one to be cancelled, that is not a transfer - that is a cancellation. If you have mistakenly registered in the wrong session and instead of contacting dinosdirector@gmail.com you elect to register in the correct session and then send a request to be removed and refunded for the original session, you will be charged the cancellation fee in order to cover the credit card fees.

Important Registration Note: If you register using your phone, you must close that tab after registration or it will automatically submit a duplicate registration if you open that tab again. The best way to register is on a computer to avoid duplicate charges.

2024 13U-to-14U VOLLEYBALL TRAINING (Girls)

Designed for current 13U club athletes, this 2 weeks summer training opportunity is focused on the transition from playing tripleball at 13U to regular volleyball at 14U. Coaches will focus on teaching positions, the rules of the game and strategies. These sessions will also include all round skill work and lots of game play. This program is encouraged for any 13U club athletes wanting to prepare for the 14U season in 2024-2025; 14U athletes looking for additional training and increasing their understanding of volleyball are permitted to enrol.

Program Days and Times:​

• 4:30-6:00pm, Monday, Wednesday & Friday 

• 2 week program (6 sessions); 32 spots available

Program Fee: $230.00

**Session #1 and Session #2 will be the same program. Athletes are welcome to register for both, however Session #2 will be a repetition of Session #1.

2024 ALL SKILLS CAMP (Girls)
This camp is the total package for any athlete looking to work on their overall game. This program is committed to providing an opportunity that aligns with Volleyball Canada’s long term athlete development model. Athletes will learn from qualified coaches and will touch on all skills in volleyball, including: passing, setting, attacking, defence, blocking and serving. This is a development camp. Club experience is NOT required for this camp. 

Program Date: July 8-12, 2024

Program Numbers: 36 spots available in each session

Program Fee: $375

2024 POSITION SPECIFIC CAMP (Girls)
This program will help elevate any athlete that is looking to improve on the foundation they currently have in their position or take this opportunity to learn a completely new position. Our goal is to help support each athlete at becoming well rounded in all the skills required of their position. Club experience is REQUIRED for the program. 

Program Date: July 2-5, 2024

Program Fee: $325.00

2024 NIKE TEAM CAMP (Girls)
A training camp focused on tactics and game play, this camp is designed to challenge athletes who already have a strong base of volleyball skills. Club experience is strongly recommended. Club experience is REQUIRED for the program. 

Program Date: July 15-19, 2024

Program Fee: $400.00

2024 DINOMITES CAMP (Girls)
This camp is designed for athletes aged 10 and 11 who are new to the game and wanting to work on all aspects of the game. Athletes will learn from qualified coaches and will touch on all skills in volleyball, including: passing, setting, attacking, defence, blocking and serving, as well as game play through Tripleball. This is a development camp. Club experience is NOT required for this camp.

2024 FUTURE STARS CAMP (Girls)

This camp is intended to provide Jr/Sr high school female athletes the opportunity to brush up on their volleyball skills prior to the start of their respective school seasons. For more details and to apply, click HERE.

  • 12U: 4:30-6:30pm (at Volleyball Academy)

  • 13U: 7:00-9:00pm (at Volleyball Academy)

  • 16U: 5:00-7:00pm (at JVCentre)

2024 BEACH SUMMER PROGRAMS

We have partnered with Kokoro Beach for summer beach training. Training will run May 28, 2024 - July 28, 2024 with a max of 24 athletes per session. Partners are not mandatory to register. Training will take place at the Springbank Park for All Seasons Beach Courts.

• 14U / 15U:  Tuesday & Wednesday, 5:00-6:30pm 

• 16U - 18U:  Tuesday & Wednesday, 6:30-8:00pm 

 

Summer training will be focused on:

• Fundamental Training

  • Beach-specific passing, setting, and attacking skills

• Better Ball Handling

  • Each session will include ball handling fundamentals and progressions

• Footwork Patterns

  • Correct footwork application in the sand is integral to a complete beach skill set

• Increased Dexterity

  • Improve hand/foot-eye coordination through unique and progressive drills

• Beach-Specific Strategy

  • Learn about beach-specific elements and how to adapt our strategies to take advantage of situations
